The support of artistic teams in their creative projects is at the heart of the CDCN project. This is why all the shows offered during the season are linked to residences and to the «tailor-made» support provided to artists. At the Atelier de Paris, the accompaniment takes a long time and emphasizes the continuity of working hours and the different spaces available by rethinking a new articulation between production and diffusion. While it focuses primarily on creative projects, support is nevertheless possible for research residencies or the resumption of a show. Among the residencies of creation, most give place to the presentation of their show within the framework of the «season in creations» or the festival JUNE EVENTS. They can also be the occasion for the public to meet the artistic teams during scheduled openings. The support in production is considered according to the specificities of the projects and the needs of the companies at all the stages of the creation, from the conception to the representation.
CDCN’s support consists of:
- free provision of workspaces
- financial assistance for the production of the show
- technical and / or administrative support
- broadcasting: direct in the context of the JUNE EVENTS season and / or festival and / or indirectly with broadcasting partnerships in Île-de-France
- artistic and cultural actions: at the Atelier de Paris or in other partner structures. Finally, the Atelier de Paris reinforces the accompaniment offered to the companies by inviting the dance critic Gérard Mayen and the photographer Patrick Berger to follow certain artistic teams in residence.
