Since 2005, in parallel to its main educational mission, the CDC Atelier de Paris set up a support system to help dance companies with their research and choreographical creation projects (residencies) or with their professional careers. With the development of a roster of performances since 2011, the CDC Atelier de Paris reinforces its support of resident companies.
A "CUSTOM-MADE" SUPPORT
Nowadays, the Atelier de Paris / CDCN develops a support system of artistic teams regarding their needs and the specificities of their projects, which involves all stages from creation to conception to presentation.
The modalities of this accompaniment involve : providing free rehearsal space, technical support, coproduction, administrative support, programming performances. In addition, artistic action projects creating new forms of exchange and synergy between artists and the public.
SPACES RENOVATED AND DEDICATED TO THE CREATION
The CDCN / Atelier de Paris now occupies 1000 m2 of renovated spaces within the Cartoucherie, suited for artistic practice, and more specifically to choreographic creation.
A dance space
Surface : 210 m2
Audience capacity : 80 seats
A theater transformed into studio-stage having the peculiarity to combine on the ground the qualities of a dance studio and those of a technical tray.
Surface : from 190 m2 to 260 m2
Audience capacity : 140 seats

The Atelier de Paris / CDCN also supports artists in their pathway and invite artistic teams to embrace all its activities.
From 2012 until June 2015, Man Drake, Tomeo Vergès company benefits from an in-depth support on 3 productions and shares the many projects at the Atelier de Paris / CDCN.
