Nina Santes grew up in a family of puppeteers before moving onto dance and then choreography. We got to know her as a dancer at the heart of a generation in search of experimentation. In 2016, the audience of the Atelier de Paris discovered her piece A leaf, far and ever. The previous year, her solo Self made man was an important work for the genre.
Mylène Benoit comes from a fine arts background, and practices contemporary media. Thus, her approach to dance comes from a larger understanding of modes of representation. In 2016, the audience of the Atelier de Paris and JUNE EVENTS were able to appreciate the striking sensory experience of her piece L’aveuglement.
